[All I can say is… My crack shipping of Zessica and Kagura is actually CANON!?]
[WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS MY FEELS.]

She swatted at the prodding digit, taking a couple of steps backwards.
“Ehh?! What do you mean? Can’t you see, silly? I’m obviously Zessica.” After tuning around, scoffing with her nose towards the air, she smirked slightly before walking away calmly.

Mikono turned, staring at Zessica for a moment. The words her friend had said touched her heart, and she couldn’t help but form a smile on her face. And then, she understood. Zessica was trying to cheer her up. It seemed everything was trying to cheer her up lately. But the violet-haired girl didn’t want to make anyone worried, no. She just wanted… All she wanted was…
She shook her head, her smile still in place. ”Sorry. Was I making you worry, Zessica?” Mikono asked softly. ”I know I’m not very good company… and I know I can be a little difficult sometimes, but…” She met Zessica’s gaze. ”Thank you. Thank you for being my friend.”
She was doing more than just trying to pick up Mikono’s spirits. No, she wanted her to truly recognize how amazing she really was. Then again, that probably wasn’t her place, but as long as she had expressed her respect and admiration for the other girl, then that’s all that mattered. Zessica’s smile matched her classmate’s, though it turned into an ear-to-ear grin after she heard Mikono’s thanks.

“No need to thank me, that’s what friends are for, right?” She laughed lightly, her hands on her hips before giving a firm nod. “We all need a pick me up every so often.”

Up until the first mixed-Union he ever had, with her and Amata (who was with Mikono and not yet a student at NEO-DEAVA), Cayenne didn’t know much about Zessica Wong, aside from the fact that she was probably one of the top pilots at the Girls’ Academy.
Now that NEO-DEAVA was co-ed, he had started to see her around a lot. She stood out from the rest of the girls, he noted, with her bright green hair, loud personality and revealing clothing. He still didn’t know her well but he acknowledged her piloting skills. He could see that there was some kind of strained friendship/rivalry going on between her and his sister Mikono over that Amata Sora kid.
“Zessica,” he greeted when he saw her. He was unsure of what to say to such a charismatic character, so he stood there, feigning his usual disinterest (inwardly, he hoped he didn’t look too awkward).
It was a typical day. During downtime, Zessica often found herself having nothing to really do besides lounging around and trying to lead a normal day, as normal as she could considering the current circumstances. She was walking down the sidewalk, across the courtyard when she saw Cayenne, Mikono’s brother walking towards her.
Surely he had business to do, he always looked so serious whenever Zessica saw himr; therefore, he had to have a reason, right? Probably not. Zessica always wondered if he was just being too uptight, though she’d never question it at this point. She barely knew the guy after all, and she respected him greatly. He was easily considered top notch, it was pretty obvious too.
Zessica planned to give him a slight wave, and continue on with her day, but he stopped her, much to her surprise. There was something about his voice, that instantly made her think she was being scolded for something. She took a step backwards, rubbing the back of her neck. “Oh hey, Cayenne. What’s up?” Zessica smiled slightly.

“Oh! H-Hey, Zessica.”
Nervously scratching the back of his neck, Amata kindly greeted the green haired girl before him. Talking to Zessica was starting to become more difficult; especially after she told him her feelings of love in the Aquarion, which made it go crazy. As much as Amata appreciated her feelings for him, he already had someone he loved, Mikono. He could tell that this was effecting her too. Amata didn’t want to become distant from Zessica. She was still some one who was important to him. The best thing he could do was talk to her more about the situation and try to clear things up.
Zessica was sitting in the grass, her hands propped behind her and her knees near her chest. The sun was setting, and it wasn’t too hot outside. She figured she could relax after dinner, and maybe clear her thoughts. It was pretty hard, going day after day seeing the person you love be in love with someone else. Yes, it was hard, but she help the way she felt. The green haired girl sighed and rested her hand against her cheek, but then she heard his voice. Looking up, she caught Amata’s eyes, hers quickly enlarging before darting to the side.

“H-Hey, Amata. What’s up?” She asked, as casually as possible. Even if she tried to hide it, there was a certain pain laced between her words. Despite all of this, she was still glad he was at least willing to talk to her. She’d rather settle for a friendship with him than no relationship at all.
That’s right. It must be different. Jin’s world—Kagura’s world. In her brother’s vision, she would end up on that world as that person’s bride. Her fingers began to tremble. All of her thoughts were so confusing right now, she wasn’t sure where to begin and what she liked or disliked about them; all Mikono Suzushiro was certain of was the tightness beginning to push onto her chest.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Zessica’s voice. ”Eh?” Mikono asked, turning, a little startled. She hadn’t meant to space out, especially since she was with company. ”My power…?” She looked up at the sky, her eyes widening slightly. ”Related… to the stars…” Her heart pounded. Something about what Zessica said felt so… right for some reason. As though she was bound to the stars above them. But what was the relation? ”I can’t imagine… what it could be…”
Luckily enough this pop quiz of sorts distracted Mikono from darker thoughts. so Zessica had hoped. She really wanted this all to be a pleasant memory for the both of them. The green haired girl looked up to the sky as well; however she wasn’t searching for the answer to her question as the other was. In fact, she wasn’t even looking at the stars themselves.

“Your power goes beyond the stars themselves, Mikono. If we’re all the stars, you’re like the sky that connects the stars together. In reality, stars are pretty far apart, but because of the sky, they’re joined together somehow and they even can come together as clusters of light. Without you, we’d all be wandering without a way to one another.” Zessica paused a moment, glancing at Mikono to see if she understood. It made sense in her head, but Zessica was pretty bad at sounding profound. That kind of thing was for Fudo, or as she liked to call him, Donut Dude.
